Wows and scowls

Wow:  Without people like those who belong to the Greater Redstone Clearwater Initiative who keep pushing for clean streams, the Youghiogheny River today might run orange instead of boasting some of the finest fishing in these parts.  Many have written off Redstone Creek as a sulfur-laden, rust-colored pool that isn't even worth the effort.  But the GRCI isn't ready to give up and is continuing its quest to entice local and state officials to do what can be done to stem drainage from abandoned mines.  We applaud their tenacity, as the only way Redstone Creek will ever run clear is for people like those with GRCI to make it happen.
