Watershed Assessment and Restoration Plan

Cleaning up a 120 square mile watershed is no easy task.  In order to approach this effort efficiently and logically, GRCI completed a Watershed Assessment and Restoration Plan (WARP) that provides a road map for future efforts to protect, conserve, restore, and enhance the natural resources in the Greater Redstone watershed.  As part of this effort, GRCI volunteers conducted high and low flow water quality samplings at over 40 locations in the watershed and visually assesed nearly 75 stream miles in the watershed.
